REQUIREMENTS FOR MARRIAGE CELEBRATIONS
To get married in Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, it is necessary to make the reservation 6 months before the wedding and at the same time, make an appointment with the priest in charge. Either or both, the bride and groom, must live within the parish boundaries and be officially registered. If neither of the spouses lives in this jurisdiction, the permission of the pastor from where they live will be required.
Necessary Documents
1. Baptism Certificate (must be issued within 6 months prior to the wedding date from the church of baptism)
2. Confirmation Certificate (may be the original from the time of celebrating the sacrament)
3. First Communion Certificate (if available, this may be original from the time of the sacrament)
4. Certificate from Marriage Preparation Program (issued after completion of one of the programs)
5. Marriage License (to be purchased not more than 60 days prior to the wedding date. Acquire at Centro Maravilla Neighborhood Facility - - 4716 Cesar Chavez Ave., East Los Angeles (323) 260- 2991 or call The County Offices general information at (562) 462-2137.

REQUISITOS PARA MATRIMONIO
Para contraer matrimonio en la Parroquia de Nuestra Señor de Guadalupe, es necesario hacer la reservación 6 meses antes de la boda y al mismo tiempo hacer su cita con el sacerdote encargado. Alguno de los novios o ambos deben vivir en los límites de la parroquia y estar oficialmente registrados. Si ninguno de los contrayentes vive en esta jurisdicción, se requerirá el permiso del párroco donde vive.Documentos Necesarios
1. Certificado de Bautismo (debe presentar una copia reciente, con fecha dentro del año actual).
2. Certificado de Confirmación (puede ser el original del tiempo en que se celebró el sacramento).
3. Certificado de Primera Comunión (si está disponible, puede ser el original del tiempo del sacramento).
4. Certificado del Programa de Preparación Matrimonial (lo recibirán al asistir al programa).
5. Licencia de Matrimonio (se debe comprar dentro de los 60 días antes de la fecha de la boda. Se solicita en el Centro Maravilla Neighborhood Facility—4716 Cesar Chavez Ave., East Los Angeles (323) 260-2991 o llamando a las Oficinas del Condado informes general en (562) 462-2137.
